I’m a proud single dad of a third-grade volleyball player, dancer, and straight-A student. If you ask me about my hobbies, I’ll answer that she’s my hobby. I like to take her to her games and practices, and I love to watch her grow and get smarter every day. A year ago, I was pulled over and arrested with her in the backseat. I didn’t know where they took my daughter. For 10 long days, I worried, waited, and asked everyone I could find. I’d never been away from my daughter, ever. Finally, a woman gave me a business card for TEEM. TEEM stepped in and helped me get out, and I found out my daughter had been put into foster care. I was able to get a case manager, get my daughter back, and take classes. I now have full custody of her and I’m working to clear the charges. I feel like TEEM has become our family. I’m excited about my life right now.
