A mother’s love knows no bounds. My three children are my world and nothing can ever take that from me. Life isn’t always easy and mine has been no exception. I’ve been knocked down. Knocked down hard, but never broken or forgotten. I lost my own mother while I was in prison. Imagine losing your mom and not being able to attend her funeral? I’ve learned consequences and the importance of filling your life with good people. My life is a story of learning and recovery. I’ve learned to not blame anyone. I’m accountable for myself and I strive each day to be the best mother and member of the Oklahoma City community that I can possibly be. Since my release, I’ve been blessed to work in Christian ministries and for a local building supply company. I’m proof that change is possible. I’ve seen it. I’ve lived it.
